What is AthenAI?

AthenAI is an AI-powered growth platform for solopreneurs, side hustlers, small business owners, and acquirers. Think of it as a cofounder that doesn’t sleep, doesn’t take equity, and runs the operational grind so you can focus on the work that actually matters.

It’s not a chatbot bolted to a CRM. It’s a real operating layer: a website, a CRM, an AI cofounder you can talk to from your phone, a workflow library that runs marketing, content, and ops on a schedule, and a dashboard that ties it all together.

What AthenAI actually does

AthenAI gives you three things:

  1. A live website. Free, on yourname.athenaigrowth.com, yours to keep forever. Provisioned at the end of onboarding (typical 2–10 minutes after signup). Custom domain (yourbusiness.com) when you upgrade.
  2. An AI cofounder you can talk to. Web and mobile. Ask it anything, ask it to draft something, ask it to run a workflow. For high-stakes actions it proposes and you approve. (More on what “high-stakes” means in practice — see /help/account/approvals-and-control/.)
  3. A workflow library. 28 pre-built automations today, catalog growing (lead follow-up, content scheduling, review collection, appointment reminders, customer-onboarding emails, more). Browse on Free, run on paid tiers.

Underneath: a real CRM with pipelines and contacts (Solo+ pipeline runs through an integrated GoHighLevel sub-account); integrations with email, SMS, WhatsApp, payments; and a job queue that runs your workflows on a clock so you don’t have to babysit them.

Who AthenAI is for

Three kinds of operator:

  • You don’t have a business yet, and you want one. AthenAI matches your goals/skills/budget to a viable business idea, drafts the brand, projects the unit economics, and ships you a real free site to test it. (The Create path.)
  • You have a business, and the back-office is eating you alive. AthenAI audits your existing site + stack, finds the waste, builds a 90-day automation roadmap, and runs the workflows that take you out of the loop. (The Grow path.)
  • You want to buy a small business and modernize it. AthenAI surfaces acquisition targets from Empire Flippers, scores user fit (does this match your goals/capital?), and stages the post-close playbook. (The Buy path. Modernization-fit scoring — how much upside AthenAI specifically brings to a target — is rolling out.)

If none of those describe you — say, you’re running a 50-person ops team — AthenAI is probably not the right fit. It’s built for people who would rather not hire a five-person back-office.

What AthenAI is not

  • Not an agency. Nobody at AthenAI is going to manage your campaigns by hand. The platform does the work; you stay in the driver’s seat.
  • Not a black box. High-stakes actions — sending a customer-facing message, publishing content to your live site, charging a card — surface an approval card you can review before it ships. Lower-stakes internal mutations execute directly today; we’re expanding the approval surface as we ship the kill-switch and rule engine. See /help/account/approvals-and-control/.
  • Not a trial. Free is free for as long as you want it. No 14-day countdown, no card on file, no upsell timer in the corner.
  • Not lock-in. Your domain, your data, your CRM, your content — all yours. Cancel anytime, and your free site keeps running on yourname.athenaigrowth.com. Need a copy of your CRM, contacts, or site source? Email support@athenaigrowth.com and we’ll send you the export the same day. (Self-serve one-click download is on the roadmap for later this quarter.)

How it’s structured

AthenAI has two dimensions: how you came in (path) and what you pay for (tier). They’re independent.

Any path can land on any tier — including Free. Don’t let anyone tell you “Create-path users have to pay $97” or “Buy-path users start at Scale.” That’s not how it works. You pick the tier when you’re ready.

We’re asking you to give an AI access to your business. Money, customers, content, outbound messages. That’s a real ask. Here’s how we handle it:

  • AI proposes, you approve — for high-stakes actions. Every customer-facing message send, every charge, every published post routes through a one-tap approval card before it ships. (Lower-stakes internal mutations execute directly today; full “every-action approval” is on the roadmap.)
  • You always see the diff. When an approval card surfaces, you see exactly what’s about to happen — email body, recipient list, charge amount — before you tap approve.
  • Kill switch. 🟦 Coming soon. Today: per-workflow enabled toggle in Settings → Workflows (flip off to stop future runs; in-flight runs complete normally). One-tap mid-action halt, side-effect rollback, and channel-level pause are on the near-term roadmap. To stop something right now, email support@athenaigrowth.com — we can manually halt anything during business hours.
  • Audit log. Every action is timestamped, attributed, and queryable. Reversibility is per-action: refunds work today; one-tap revert for CRM/content/GHL mutations is on the roadmap.
  • Auto-approval rules. 🟦 Coming soon. Today every action that requires approval routes through you manually. The rule engine (“auto-approve newsletter sends under 5,000 recipients,” “manual approval for any charge ≥ $50”) is on the roadmap; new accounts will default to 100% manual until you opt in.

The control-model contract — AthenAI proposes, you approve, it executes — is the same on Free, Solo, Growth, Scale, and Custom. The capacity changes per tier; the control model doesn’t. Read more at /help/account/approvals-and-control/.
